What label distributed "The Nightmare Before Christmas"?

: nightmare before christmas

Why: I went to Disneyland on Monday and saw the Halloween fireworks show. (Zero flies over Cinderella's Castle! Oogie Boogie talks on It's a Small World!) I don't remember that being a Disney movie.

Answer: Touchstone! They used that label because they thought the movie would be "too dark and scary for kids."

Some other Touchstone movies not appropriate for children include: Pretty Woman, Dead Poets Society, Con Air, The Royal Tenenbaums, Good Morning Vietnam, and Coyote Ugly.
