Why: In Vanity Fair's "Famous When You're Born":
Long before Mia Farrow starred in Rosemary’s Baby (as well as a few off-screen dramas of her own, with husbands Frank Sinatra and Woody Allen), she was known as the daughter of Maureen O’Sullivan, who played Jane in 1932’s Tarzan the Ape Man. Here they are together in the 1960s.I had no idea. Other people that love/d Frank Sinatra include Zack and my grandfather.
Answer: Teehee, there's a whole Wikipedia page about his L-life. It's funny because he was so short:
- Nancy Barbato (Feb. 1939-Oct. 1951) - Mother of Nancy, Frank Jr., and Tina, and not-mother of a third child she aborted amid [true] rumors of his affairs
- Ava Gardner (Nov. 1951-1957) - Caused breakup with 1st wife Nancy, and then had an abortion of her own in the wake of more [true] rumors of affairs. They separated in 1953, but stayed married for a while
- Mia Farrow (July 1966-1968) - She was 21, he was 50. (Later, she raised a daughter that did the same gross thing.) She agreed to appear in his 1968 film, The Detective, but when she reneged as her filming schedule for Rosemary's Baby overran, Sinatra served her divorce papers in front of the cast and crew. Dick!
- Barbara Blakely Marx (1976-1998) - Zeppo Marx's ex-wife, BTW, and a total B. She didn't even call his kids when he was dying, so they missed it.
- Lana Turner (1946)
- Marilyn Maxwell (1946)
- Judy Garland (1949 and 1955)
- Lauren Bacall (1957, just after Bogey died)
- Juliet Prowse (1962)
- Angie Dickinson (1954-1964)
- Marilyn Monroe (1961-1962, when she died)
The More You Know: My own romantic history reads like Who's Who of human crap. Ask me about my malaise.
