Search: how long does nail polish last
Why: I'm painting my toenails with polish I've had maybe 3 years. It's all lumpy and barely spreads.
Answer: Nail polish usually lasts 1 year, but can stay as long as 2 years. Many factors will affect the quality, like how often the polish is opened and exposed to air, what quality it is, how old it was when it was purchased and how it is stored.
Storing it in the refrigerator or other cool & dry place will help polish last longer. You may be able to add thinner to polish that has become too thick.
