Do octopuses like to hang out with each other?

Why: In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, 4 octopuses were hanging out on Megatron's disembodied head. They don't seem like particularly gregarious animals.

Answer: I don't think so! I could only even find one picture of 2 real octopuses in the same vicinity, and for one thing: they're doing it, and for another: it's from National Geographic:

The More You Know: In a study, researchers observed smaller male octopuses put on feminine airs. Some would keep their brown stripes—a male trait—hidden, perhaps to lull females into a false sense of safety before setting the scene for "seduction."
