In the 1999 movie, The Story of Us, starring Bruce Willis and Michelle Phifer, the couple sits down to dinner with their children. While dining they play "the high low game". They all go around the table talking about the worst part of their day and the best part of their day, parents included.

I loved this idea from the first time I saw it and started it with my children. It's so amazing what you learn about your children's lives over dinner. This "game" is something I would encourage any family to try.
