Who is Cuba Gooding, Jr.'s character in "Boyz n the Hood"?

Why: Jim said there's a baseball player named Trey Harne, which is funny because Dan and Richard's last name is Treharne. I said I think the main character of Boyz n the Hood is named Tre without a Y.
Answer: OMG I'm right! His name is Tre Styles. His dad Laurence Fishburne is Furious Styles, a "no-nonsense disciplinarian who teaches his son how to be a man."

The More You Know: That movie always makes me cry (at the end when Ricky... well, you know). Here is "Black on Black Crime" by Stanley Clarke. It's great.
I would have to agree that when it gets to the end and I’ve watched it a million times over, I always shed a tear when Ricky (Morris Chestnut) gets killed. I actually bought the movie before I went to college but needless to say, my DVD collection was soon depleted by someone but I always enjoy watching it and although it comes on once in a blue moon but now it’s available to rent at Blockbuster. I’m using a special promotion with DISH Network that let’s me rent the movie or any other movie and I don’t have to pay for the service for three months! That’s longer than Netflix and I can even go into a store and return it.
