The More You Know: In 2005, producers of the show (which ran from Dec. 2002 to July 2007) were sued by a woman who was dropped by a contestant. Deleese Williams (below) was promised an "eye lift, ears pulled back, chin implant and breast implants." During filming, members of her family, including her sister Kellie, were encouraged to disparage her appearance. Then, hours before Deleese was set to have her jaw broken and reconstructed, she was dropped from the show. Four months later, her sister Kellie killed herself, maybe because all of the crappy things she said about her sister. Deleese sued ABC for alleged breach of contract, willful infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. They settled out of court.
